Martin Madden

Martin Madden

Chairman

Mr. Madden has over twenty years of private equity investment experience focused on B2B services companies. Prior to Infocommerce Partners, Mr. Madden co-founded Seguin Partners Fund, LP in 2006 and serves as General Partner.

At Seguin he led the acquisitions of CFO and CFO’s acquisition of IE Group, and the fund’s investment in Genesis Solutions where he also served on the Board. From 1992 until 2006, Mr. Madden was a Managing Director of Bariston Partners in Boston where he specialized in the acquisition of B2B media companies. Bariston completed a very successful investment program focused on media, security and other recurring revenue service businesses.

Mr. Madden played a lead role in the acquisitions of Bariston platform companies Commonwealth Business Media and HCPro and served on both companies’ Boards, and was actively involved in identifying and completing add-on acquisitions for these companies. Mr. Madden began his career in 1982 as a lending officer at Bank of New England in Boston, where in 1985 he became Vice President at its investment banking subsidiary BNE Associates. He holds a BA from Tufts and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire. He is active in various community organizations in and around Newburyport, MA.

Frank P. McVeigh was instrumental in forming McVeigh Associates in the summer of 1990. Frank’s focus on sales, technology and the growth of McVeigh Associates was key to the company’s success. With the merger/acquisition by Fourth Wall Events and WorldTek Events in June 2018, McVeigh Associates has become McVeigh Global Meetings and Events. Frank will continue to contribute his industry knowledge and apply his strategic vision to the new company as a valuable board member of the company.

Prior to forming McVeigh Associates, Frank was the President of Travel Destinations Unlimited of New York. Throughout Frank’s 6 years at the helm, Travel Destinations attained sales growth in excess of 35 million dollars, with nine branch offices focused on meetings, incentives, and corporate travel.

Frank holds a B.B.A. in Professional Management from Pace University, and M.B.A. in Economics from Long Island University.

Jeff Guberman

Fun Fact: Jeff has 3 wonderful children and in his spare time he trains in the discipline of Jiu Jitsu.

Bio: Jeff Guberman is the CEO of McVeigh Global Meetings and Events and was instrumental in the formation of the new company. He brought together a unique combination of skill sets and services in Fourth Wall Events, WorldTek Events and McVeigh Associates. He has a deliberate vision to lead the company through the implementation of efficiency initiatives and growth strategies.

Jeff’s industry success is evident throughout his prosperous history of founding and leading Fourth Wall Events (a meeting and events company catering to Fortune 1000 clientele), Dynamic Drape and Décor (a drapery rental company to the events industry sold in 2014) and Formset (a scenery rental business to the events industry sold in 2016).

Jeff is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and applies his learnings to help his team of professionals achieve new levels of success.

Alan Glass

Mr. Glass has over 35 years of successful operating experience in many segments of the business-to-business publishing and information sector. Mr. Glass is an Operating Partner of Seguin Partners Fund and also on the Executive Operating Board of RFE Investment Partners. He served as Chairman and CEO of CFO/IE (a Seguin Partners portfolio company) from 2013 until its sale in 2016. Previously, Mr. Glass worked closely with Mr. Madden in the acquisition of Commonwealth Business Media (“CBM”) and the implementation of its growth and acquisition strategy from 2000 until the company’s sale in July 2006.

During that time, he served as the company’s Chairman and CEO. Prior to forming CBM, Mr. Glass spent 10 years in various management roles with Primedia Information and from 1997 until the change of ownership in 2000; he was the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

During his tenure with Primedia, the company grew its sales volume 8 times and increased profits an unprecedented 26 times. Prior to joining Primedia, he spent 10 years as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Thomson Transport Press.

Mr. Glass began his publishing career in 1972 with The Wall Street Journal. He is a former director of Ziff Davis Enterprise and Connective, formerly the American Business Management association. Mr. Glass is currently the Executive Chairman of EnsembleIQ, a leading information provider to the retail and consumer package goods markets. He holds holds a BA in Political Science from Ursinus College and an MA in Education from Villanova University.

Mary has a diverse and impressive background in the MICE industry including positions such as the Corp. VP of Event Solutions at BI Worldwide, Sr. Director at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Meetings and Events, VP of Business Development at BCD M&O and President of SITE Global.

Russell Perkins

Mr. Perkins is the Founder and CEO of Infocommerce Group of Bala Cynwyd, PA. He has over 25 years experience in all facets of the data and information industry. Most recently, Mr. Perkins was President/CEO of Dorland Healthcare Information, a venture capital-backed database information company serving the healthcare industry that is now a division of UCG Holdings. Prior to that, Mr. Perkins was Vice-President of the Legal Intelligencer, now a division of ALM. Previous to that, Mr. Perkins was Group President at NAPCO Media, where he was responsible for development and launch of its of media information and graphic arts industry databases. Mr. Perkins has also been a staff consultant at AT&T, and an editor at Thomas Publishing Company. Mr. Perkins is also the founder Morgan-Rand, Inc. a publishing and consultancy firm serving the yellow pages and specialty directory markets, ultimately sold to Volt Information Sciences and Cowles Business Media. Mr. Perkins is the author of Directory Publishing: A Practical Guide, which is now in its fifth edition, and Infocommerce: Internet Strategies for Database Publishers. Mr. Perkins also leads the Data Leadership Peer Network of the Software and Information Industry Association, is currently a director of WorldTek Events and is on the advisory boards of Owler.com and UBL Interactive. Mr. Perkins attended Sarah Lawrence College and has completed certificate programs in business strategy and organizational leadership at Cornell University.
