Jeff Guberman

Chief Executive Officer


Fun Fact: Jeff has 3 wonderful children and in his spare time he trains in the discipline of Jiu Jitsu.

Bio: Jeff Guberman is the CEO of McVeigh Global Meetings and Events and was instrumental in the formation of the new company. He brought together a unique combination of skill sets and services in Fourth Wall Events, WorldTek Events and McVeigh Associates. He has a deliberate vision to lead the company through the implementation of efficiency initiatives and growth strategies.

Jeff’s industry success is evident throughout his prosperous history of founding and leading Fourth Wall Events (a meeting and events company catering to Fortune 1000 clientele), Dynamic Drape and Décor (a drapery rental company to the events industry sold in 2014) and Formset (a scenery rental business to the events industry sold in 2016).

Jeff is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program and applies his learnings to help his team of professionals achieve new levels of success.

Carvie Gillikin

Chief Revenue Officer


Fun Fact: Carvie rode on the rodeo circuit for 10 years.

Bio: Carvie brings 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry to McVeigh Global Meetings and Events. He began his career as a sales manager in southeastern North Carolina for an oceanfront resort. He then worked for properties such as Sheraton, Westin and W Hotels. In 2005 Carvie left the hotel world to join the event industry. It was during that time that he worked in Washington, DC for an audiovisual and production company where he gained invaluable experience in the industry. In 2007, Carvie joined Fourth Wall Events as the Director of Sales and Marketing and later became a Vice President/ Partner overseeing the company’s sales, marketing and operations.

Currently, Carvie is the Chief Revenue Officer for McVeigh Global Meetings and Events and is responsible for overseeing global sales and marketing efforts. Ultimately, Carvie’s concentrations are on identifying new revenue streams, implementing new strategies to increase gross margin and maximizing sales forecasts for McVeigh Global.

Carvie remains active in the industry with MPI and enjoys speaking on a variety of panels at industry wide conferences.

Renee Jacobs

Executive Vice President


Fun Fact: A reptile enthusiast and scrabble champion

Bio: Renee Jacobs has been actively involved in the meeting and event industry for 20+ years. Previously COO & Partner of WorldTEK Events she managed the International Air Transportation Association account which includes the annual World Cargo Symposium, Slots Conference and the World Financial Symposium. She has produced events all over the globe including Singapore, Doha, Shanghai, Dubai & Cape Town.

Prior to WorldTEK, Renée was Conference Director for The Journal of Commerce for nine years. As Conference Director of the JoC, Renée was responsible for producing a number of maritime conferences and exhibitions. She assisted greatly in the expansion of the division into the European and Asian conference market. In 2008, the Trans-Pacific Maritime Conference won Bronze Medal from Folio Magazine for Best Conference. Renée was nominated as a 2008 finalist in the 5th Annual Stevie Awards for Best Executive Women in Business Category: Service Businesses - up to 2,500 Employees.

Prior to 2000, Renée was a meeting planner at The Compass Group, a meeting planning company specializing in the pharmaceutical industry.

Currently as Executive Vice President for McVeigh, she oversees and manages the Association department.

Renee received a BS in Commercial Recreation and Tourism at Montclair State University.

Ellen Montuori-Graziano

Fun Fact: Loves traveling to places where there are few tourists and live among the locals.

Bio: Ellen Montuori-Graziano was one of the founding partners of McVeigh Associates in 1990. As an active and dynamic partner, Ellen managed the Finance Department as well as the daily operations of all divisions of McVeigh Associates.

Ellen has over 40 years’ experience in the Travel and Meetings Industry. Prior to McVeigh Associates, she was Director of Operations for Travel Destinations Unlimited of New York, overseeing nine branch offices. Prior to that, she was the Manager of Travel Committee which specialized in employee travel programs for over 40 Fortune 500 companies.

Currently Ellen is an EVP at McVeigh Global Meetings and Events and is responsible for the meetings department. Her role involves the management of a department servicing multi-national Fortune 1000 accounts.
