Floranna comes to McVeigh with a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and client perspective.
Floranna worked with Maritz Global Events for 14 years. She started her career as a Travel Director operating events for Fortune 50 companies. After 9 years, Floranna brought her operational expertise in house as Events Manager for Maritz’s largest clients. She has experience executing events all over the world and has worked with an array of clients in various industry. Her people skills, attention to detail, and management of all facets of events promoted her to Business Development Executive to the PNW. After three years in Sales, Floranna sought to bring her third-party skills and influence to the client side. This led her to accept a Position as Director of Events and Marketing for Mirren.
Floranna graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a BA in International Hotel and Tourism Management, and a concentration in Hospitality Sales and Meeting Management. During her time at Johnson & Wales she was responsible for planning and executing events for both faculty and the student body as the Student Activities Event Manager.
She is also a Connect Corporate “Peak Performers” 40 Under 40 Honoree.
