New York, NY (February 14, 2022) - McVeigh Global Meetings and Events is pleased to announce Carvie Gillikin, former COO, as President, Chief Client Officer and Jennifer Filippone, former CFO, as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. 

Having successfully thrived through two years of the pandemic, MGME has planned for 2022 and beyond with clients as top priority. Together, Filippone and Gillikin will ensure the company continues to offer the best-in-class service for clients and their internal stakeholders.

Jennifer joined MGME as CFO in January of 2020, less than 90 days before the industry shut down. Over the past two years, she has worked diligently to help MGME make financially sound decisions and increase scalability. The duality of Filippone as COO-CFO is a natural progression to increase efficiency in financial planning and operational systems and growth – both crucial elements to the success of a company.  

“When I joined MGME as CFO shortly before the pandemic, I was thrilled to have Carvie in the role of COO,” says Filippone. “Today, as Carvie transitions into the role of President and Chief Client Officer, we continue to work together to make certain our clients are supported operationally and financially.” 

Carvie has spent his entire career advocating for clients across the industry. As President, Chief Client Officer, Gillikin will spend ample time working with the sales, marketing and operational teams to streamline customer facing efforts. Working closely with each of MGME’s clients, he will ensure excellent customer service and seamless experiences.
