CHALLENGE:

Each year, Verizon wants to celebrate the new class of Verizon employees for their sales achievements with a once-in-a-lifetime, on-brand experience. MGME was tasked with managing this program for over 4,200 guests.

SOLUTION:

McVeigh Global Meetings and Events has partnered with Verizon for over 7 years to produce these award-winning programs.

  • Oversaw event design, entertainment and extensive production for beach welcome reception.
  • Integrated three sponsors to create a VIP lounge-style event for attendees with a myriad of activities, celebrity meet-and-greets, photo ops, prizes and other options.
  • Managed a CSR activity to benefit The Dream Project that included the organization of 650 back packs and instruments for local children in search of better education.
  • Managed scenic design, décor and lighting production for the final night Legends Ball.
  • Coordinated international shipping for 7 sponsors, including intricate customs needs.
